Navigation Calendars Block

Beneath the "Location and Filter block" are three miniature sized monthly calendars. The middle calendar should be for the same month that is being displayed in the main calendar view (in the view below, this is September 2006). The top calendar is the previous month (August 2006 in this case) and the bottom calendar is for the following month (October 2006 in this case).

Navigation Calendars Block

Each day in each of these miniature monthly calendars is a hyperlink. By clicking on a day hyperlink in a miniature monthly calendar, the daily view will be displayed for that date in the large calendar view. These miniature monthly calendars are thus an aid for quick navigation to a given day. In a sense they are redundant with the top date block. However, in many cases these miniature monthly calendars provide a more convenient way to navigate between days as long as they are within a month or so of the currently displayed day.
