Using the Wizard

The wizard allows you to find open time slots using various criteria. Open time slots are those periods of time in a given room where no event, meeting or class is scheduled. Using the wizard, you can find these open time slots for either repeating events or a single event. The wizard allows you to further refine your search for open slots to either a specific time or a time range and also for certain room characteristics.

To begin using the Wizard, click the Wizard top menu item. You should see a screen with the phrase "What Schedule Type Do You Need?" with four radio buttons after it. The top two radio buttons allow you to specify whether this is a Repeating Event or a One Time Event. The bottom two radio buttons allow you to specify whether you want a Specific Day/Date and Time or whether you would allow the entry to be Within a Range of Time. By clicking your desired radio button on the top and on the bottom, then a form will appear that is appropriate for your radio button selection. Fill in the form appropriately and click the Next button to begin the Wizard. The four situations for the Wizard are covered in the Help items below.
