Performing a Search

At the top of every screen for the Room Scheduler there is a search box that follows the text Text to Search for:. You can enter a search phrase into the search box and then click the Search button next to the box in order to search for a given search phrase.

This search function will search through the following fields of the entries:

  • Name

  • Description

  • Course Rubric

  • Course Number

  • Section

  • Presenter

  • Created by

After the search is performed, the results are displayed in a table 20 records at a time. By clicking the View hyperlink at the beginning of a row, you can see the details for that entry. You can also click the date hyperlink at the end of a row to see the schedule for that day.

From this search results page you can do another search by filling in the search phrase and clicking on the button with a question mark on it. You can also limit the results to only those after a given date. Note that the date variables are all numbers, so that the month of February would be 2, March would be 3, etc.
